The FX Panthera pushed the boundaries of airgun innovation with its groundbreaking design featuring an over-the-barrel plenum and a high-power/short-impulse valve. While originally developed as a specialized competition slug rifle, shooters have expressed a desire to explore the versatile applications of this remarkable airgun technology. Enter the FX Panthera Hunter Compact, a compact pellet shooter that can be easily customized to align with your unique shooting style. It is available in a range of calibers from .177 to .30.
The Hunter Compact incorporates a shortened FX Smooth Twist X Superior barrel, with a length of 300 mm for .177 and .22 calibers, 380 mm for .25 caliber, and 395 mm for .30 caliber. The smaller calibers utilize a 62 cc Macro Plenum, while the .25 and .30 calibers feature an innovative 120 cc Macro XL Plenum. To ensure optimal balance during off-hand shooting, the Hunter Compact is equipped with a 300 cc carbon fiber bottle positioned at the front of the rifle. It also features a standard AR grip, a full-length picatinny top rail with a built-in 20 MOA, and a rear stock with adjustable length of pull and cheek piece as standard components.
Shooters can further enhance their rifle with a range of accessories, including the FX Dynamic DoubleAir Adapter Kit, which enables the addition of a 300 cc carbon fiber bottle to the rear stock, resulting in an increased shot count. For those seeking an even greater air supply, the existing 300 cc bottle can be moved to the rear, while a massive 480 cc or 580 cc bottle can be added to the front. Additionally, new accessories such as the Dynamic Compact Length Arca Rail (compatible with rear bottle configuration) and the FX Dynamic Side Accessory Pic Rail are available. Another notable addition is the FX Dynamic AR Folding Stock adapter, which allows the attachment of a standard AR buffer tube and butt stock, effectively reducing the overall length of the rifle to just 26 inches when folded. The FX Panthera Hunter Compact presents an excellent choice for pellet shooting enthusiasts who prioritize a compact and versatile package.
