FX IMPACT MKll, everything you need to know.

New IMPACT MKII FX Enclosures: Improvements in Transport and Access

Not all FX models are supplied in a rigid box, although it is always an extra that can be requested from your local gun shop. We have to emphasize that the foam of the box is cut with the shape of the carbine which benefits in its transport the absorption of shocks that can affect the centering of the scope.

The new FX IMPACT MKll cases come with a different clip; this means that with the new clips, access to the carbine is easier compared to the previous IMPACT models (IMPACT and IMPACT X).

Inside the box we should find:

Safety Instructions for the FX IMPACT MKII Carbine

  1. The carbine must be received without compressed air in the bottle, this means that the pressure gauges must both show zero bars of pressure. Unless you have requested to your Gunsmith to send it with a full bottle. This ensures that the carbine has not been used before and is brand new. A carbine that has been in the store for demonstrations to customers and sometimes even shot with it cannot be considered new.
  2. Before shooting, the feed needle must be mounted, which is the one that introduces the pellet into the barrel. If this is not done, there is a risk that the O-ring that is housed inside the barrel will be ejected and subsequently leak when firing.
  3. With the air charge, we must take into account that we are talking about high pressures. The FX Impact MKII can be loaded to 250 bar of pressure and any failure or carelessness can cause an undesired accident.
  4. Revisar la carabina si no la ha usado en un largo periodo de tiempo, y, si tiene alguna duda cuente con el asesoramiento de especialistas.
